Love Hostel is an Indian Hindi-language romantic thriller film that stars Bobby Deol, Vikrant Masey and Sanya Melhotra. Shanker Raman, who directed it, produced the film for Red Chillies Entertainment as well as Drishyam Films.
The film was first released online on ZEE5 25 February 2022.

Ahmed and Jyoti, who are completely in love, have made the decision to spend their entire lives together. They decide to wed secretly and elope, knowing their families won’t approve. Vijay Singh Dagar (a ruthless mercenary) is now hunting the couple and will not let up until he “corrects” them.
The first plans to create Love Hostel were announced in October 2020. Shanker Raman wrote Love Hostel’s script with the intention of serving as the film’s director. As he wrote the script and developed the movie, he was focused on “questions in the heart and mind”. He also questioned “what has happened to society and what we can do to fix it.” The film also addresses honor killings.
Principal photography was started in Punjab’s Patiala on 23 February 2021. Sanya Melhotra, Vikrant Malhotra, and Gaurav Verma played the central roles. Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma were producers. The film was produced jointly by Red Chillies Entertainment & Drishyam Films.
Bobby Deol was also confirmed to perform in the film. He initially resisted the offer to join the film’s production. Raman and his crew rewrote parts of the script in an effort to appeal to the actor. After reading the second draft, he agreed to join. According to Raman, these modifications “elevated our film’s emotional quotient”.
Deol, in an article written prior to the film’s theatrical release, described his character as “a very intriguing character that has quite the twisted journey” that was caused by “something that happened one day that changed his whole life.” Now, whatever he does is done in his righteous ways. Deol had to chew tobacco in the film’s script. This required him to chew on a piece cotton to show Dagar speaking and chewing.
