Anbarivu 2022 Tamil-language family drama film is written and directed in Aswin Raam’s directorial debut. It was produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. The film stars Hiphop Tamizha in his first dual role, Kashmira Pardeshi and Shivani Rajashekar. Napoleon, Vidharth Sai Kumar and Asha Sharath are supporting roles.

Hiphop Tamizha composed music and the score for the film. Madhesh Mickam did cinematography and Pradeep E. Ragav handled editing. The film was released on Disney+ Hotstar, 7 January 2022.
Anbu is a twin, Arivu is an infant. Anbu stays in India with his grandfather and mother. Arivu resides in Canada with his dad. Due to an incident, twins have to move to Canada to try to reunite their families. Arivu travels to their home and pretends to be Anbu to meet his grandmother and mother. However, they soon learn who he is. Arivu decides to pitch his tent in the middle village to convince his grandfather that the family should reunite.
Hiphop Tamizha composed both the film’s soundtrack and score, while Vivek and Yaazhi Dan wrote the lyrics. On 22/12/2021, “Arakkiyae”, the first single, was released. The second single, “Ready Steady Go”, came out on 27/12/2021. The third single “Kanavugal”, which was released on the 1st of January 2022, was also available. The last single “Kalangathey”, released on 5/01/2022. Lahari Music acquired the audio rights and T-Series purchased them.
S.P.Charan had sung a different version of Thanga Sela, and Hiphop Tamizha had sung a different version of Ready Steady Go, which is part in the film.
Anbarivu decided to skip a theatrical release due to the COVID-19 pandemic that struck India. Instead, she opted for a direct streaming release via Disney+ Hotstar 7 January 2022. That was one week before Pongal Day. While the film received negative reviews for its length and script, it was praised for its soundtrack.
