I started the series with high expectations, given the synopsis of the series and the fact Ji Sung is a part of it. The first half of the series had some flaws. However, I believe there was an effort to build suspense (albeit slowly). This would have been fine with me if it progressed well. The second half of the series saw some characters display behavior that was inconsistent with what they had been written. This led to unbelievable developments.
One example is how some characters manage to escape detection even though they act in an overt manner. Another example is how guns-wielding characters preferred hand-to-hand combat in dangerous situations. One might wonder how these gaps could be closed when the story ends. Hint: It doesn’t.
In the finale, we reach rock bottom. The ending fails to address any of these plot holes. This leads to more questions about how 16 hours were wasted on this series. As some reviewers noted, the acting does not save the terrible plot.
